I. Scenic Tour of Newport & Its History: Begin at Newport Transportation Center, America’s Cup Avenue, Thames Street, Wellington Avenue, stop at Fort Adams, Ocean Drive, Bellevue Avenue, Touro Street, and return.

II. Scenic Tour of Newport & Its History (Enhanced): Begin at Newport Transportation Center, America’s Cup Avenue, Thames Street, stop on Wellington Avenue, stop at Fort Adams, Ocean Drive, stop at Portuguese Discovery Monument, continue Ocean Drive, Bellevue Avenue, Touro Street, and return.
Duration: 2 hr (approx.)
Fee: $250.
III. Scenic Tour of Newport & Mansion: Scenic Tour (see above) + a Mansion (The Breakers, Marble House, Rosecliff, or The Elms)
Duration: 3 hrs (approx.)
Fee: $300.
Note: Touring party is responsible for transportation. Tourists must also pay the mansion entrance fee.
IV. Scenic Newport Tour + Lunch + Talk: I guide you on the Newport Scenic Bus Tour (See Tour I or II above), and then we have lunch at one of three places: Wyndham Newport Hotel, The Reef, or The Mooring. Following lunch, I present one of the talks at “Book a Talk.”

V. Scenic Tour of Newport + Wine Tasting + Lunch: Scenic tour of Newport (See I. above), then travel to Newport Vineyards, Middletown, RI, for wine tasting and lunch.

VI. Colonial Walking Tour of Newport: This tour begins at Perrotti Park and ends at Trinity Church. It includes: Long Wharf, Washington Square, the Colony House, the White Horse Tavern, the Quaker Meeting House, the Wanton-Lyman-Hazard House, Touro Synagogue, Spring Park, the Jane Pickens Theater, the Second Congregational Church, the Newport Artillery Company, the Vernon House, and Trinity Church. In addition to the significance of these points of interest, narration will include: the founding of Newport, the 18th century Golden Age, the enslavement and the achievements of African-Americans, the impact of the Revolutionary War, and the Gilded Age. Max: 20 people.

VII. The Battle of Rhode Island (1778)
This tour retraces the Rhode Island Campaign and the Battle of Rhode Island during the Revolutionary War (summer 1778). It covers the British-German occupation of Aquidneck Island (1776-1779), and includes twelve stops throughout the island, beginning in Newport and ending in northeast Portsmouth.
